2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe 2-Door Description

Just over 60k miles. Runs/drives perfectly and never had any issues. Always garaged and fanatically maintained. Upgrades within the past year include:

Optima Battery
Urethane suspension and sway bar bushings, along with braided steel brake lines. No rubber to deteriorate!
New sway bar end links, adjustable heim joint type.
Professional 4 wheel alignment.
Long tube headers with high flow catalytic converters.
Borla cat-back exhaust (not recent. Already on the car when I bought in 2012.)
Air Raid intake
New serpentine belt, hoses, water pump (AC Delco)
DeWitt aluminum two row radiator.

Corbeau Seats. (I have stock seats in very good condition. New bushings installed in seat tracks to deal with common C5seat rocking issue.) I will ship the car witheither thestock or Corbeauseats installed, but the new owner will not get both sets of seats (difficult to box and ship.)

Conservatively tuned to just over 400 hp at the rear wheels by a professional tuner on a chassis dyno. Runs better and smoother than stock, along withthe additional power.
Owned and driven by a mature (rapidly aging!) adult. Never raced. I have driven the car intwo HPDE track days. Never abused or taken over 5500 RPM on those, or any otherdays. With so much torque there's no need to rev the engine up to the redline. I have decades of track experience and am a repeat graduate of the Bondurant School of driving. The car has always been driven smoothly and with respect. Drive to the track, enjoy a few laps, thendrive home in air conditioned comfort, getting around 30 MPG on the freeway. Always run fresh Mobile 1 synthetic 5W30 and Wix filter. Brake and transaxle fluids, and coolant are also fresh. My garage floor is polished epoxy coated and there's not a drop under the car. The driver's side engine cover is autographed by Jay Leno. I cannot verify the authenticity, since it was there whenI purchased the car,but it appears legit. I clear coated both covers to preserve the autograph. The wheels are the original staggered set, painted with semi-glossblack Rust Oleum. Tires are Nitto NT05, in good condition.
Last and best year for the C5. I've addressed the common C5 issues like AC/Heat disply, and seat bushings. I have the factory seats, intake, and exhaust manifolds. I've owned the car for four years and am contemplating a C6 Z06, but as I mentioned, I'm in no hurry to sell and may decide to just keep the car. My reserve reflect this.
There are a few flaws, as the car is 13 years old:
Scratches on windshield and rear glass that were there when I bought the car. Not too noticeable, so I haven't done anything with them. Minor damage to passenger rocker panel from previous owner. Down low and hard to notice. Thelower rear, inner fender areas behind the rear tires are stone chipped, but again, not too noticeable, since it's on the inner painted surface thatfacesthe tire.

Roughlytwo years ago, I had a new nose installed and painted to match. The old one was stone chipped and missing the front plate cover. Instead of buying an expensive plate cover, and possible having it painted for even more money,it was easier just to replace the whole bumper skin with a new one. I had a new air dam installed at the time as well. The two fender stripes are decals, and can be easily removed. Front emblem is also a decal. I had the emblem left off when the new bumper was installed, thinking it would look "cleaner" but it didn't look right. Not wanting to dril holes in the nose, I just put a sticker on of correct dimensions.

Minor details, but I know that buying a car sight unseen can be daunting and I'll try to give every detail of "flaws." Please request any close up photos you would like to see. It's easy to email or text them!

Happy to have potential buyers see and drive the car in person (I ride along. No joy rides!)andmay be able topick you up a the Tucson Airport.

If you live in an area that requires emissions testing, the 02 sensors will need to be dealt with, as the headers locate them further back and they don't get hot enough.Common issue when long tube headers are installed. No "Check Engine" light after dyno tune was completed.

I won't release the car until I have the funds! Shipping is from 85716, or comepick the car up in person and drive home. Please ask any questions you may have, and I'm happy to email/text photos upon request.Good luck!
