2001 Chevrolet S-10 Description

This is a truck in excellent condition for its age and class. You will not find a vehicle that has been better maintained. I purchased thistruck in December 2012 from the original owner who was a Chevy dealer employee in the State of Maryland. From December 2012 until August 2015 it was registered in the State of Michigan, but driven exclusively in Northern Virginia where I was stationed in the U.S. Army. So for the vast majority of its life, this truck has been used in a salt-free area. In addition,it hasbeengarage parked most of its life.

I have maintained this vehicleexceptionally well. It has many newer parts and fluids have always been changed often and regularly.

The only thing "wrong" with this vehicle is that the ABS system has a bad sensor, and thus the ABS warninglight turns on and off intermittently. However, there is absolutely no mechanical problem with the ABS.

The interior of this vehicle ispretty muchlike new. It was never smoked in and always kept exceptionally clean. It was recently detailed and shampooed for good measure.

Recent maintenance and work:

Oil changed abt. every 3,000 mi, trans fl. and differential fl. every ~10,000 mi

Spark plugs, fuel filter, Throttle Pos. Sensor: 3 months old

Radiator, water pump, hoses, serpentine belt, coolant: 7 months old

Muffler, exhaust pipe, tail pipe, spark plug wires, 18 months old

L-Ball joint, CD/MP3 player, secondary air pump: 17 months old

4 Michelin tires, thermostat, battery: 2 years old

Front calipers, rotors, pads, struts, idler arm: 2 1/2 years old

All in all, it's a very solid, well-maintainedtruck with many years of service left in it.
