TOP END WAS REBUILTA FEWYEARS AGO, NEW CAM, LIFTERS VALVE SEATS ETC. NEW ALL STEEL TIMING GEAR AND CHAIN WERE ALSO INSTALLED. ENTIRELY STOCK AND RUNS FLAWLESSLY AND DOES NOT SMOKEAND DOES NOT BURNOIL. HAS EDELBROCK 600CFM CARB WITH ELECTRIC CHOKE. THE DISTRIBUTOR HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO LATER MODEL HEI ELECTRONIC IGNITION DISTRIBUTOR. THE TRANSMISSION HAS ALSO BEEN REBUILT AND SHIFTS FLAWLESSLY. FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING HAS ALSO BEEN SERVICED AND STILL HAS R-12 AND BLOWS NICE AND COLD AND MORE IMPORTANTLY DOES NOT LEAK FREON. NEW RADIATOR WAS INSTALLED A FEW YEARS AGO AND THE TRUCK RUNS NICE AND COOL EVEN WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING IS ON. FACTORY POWER BRAKES WITH STANDARD FRONT DISC AND FACTORY POWER STEERING. STOPS ON A DIME AND STEERS FLAWLESSLY. THE TRUCK EVEN RIDES ON IT'S ORIGINAL SPIRAL SHOCK ABSORBERS. DUAL EXHAUST WITHNEW STOCK TYPE MUFFLERS INSTALLED. ALL THE TURN SIGNALS, LIGHTS, GAUGES AND ACCESORIES WORK. PAINTED IN 2002 FACTORY MEDIUM GREEN WITH WHITE TOP, WHICH IS IT'S ORIGINAL COLOR. THE TRUCK STILL OBTAINS ALL IT'S ORIGINAL SHEET METAL. THE ONLY RUST ISSUE WAS IN THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT LOWER FENDER DUE TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER HAVING A OLD BATTERY LEFT TOO LONG IN THE TRUCK. THIS WAS REPLACED WITH AN ORIGINAL PIECE. THE ROCKERS ARE SOLID AND RUST FREE. THE TRUCK WAS IN IT'S ORIGINAL PAINT WHEN PURCHASED AND WAS DROVE FOR SEVERAL YEARS IN THIS CONDITION, BUT WAS GETTING TOO THIN IN PLACES. THE TRUCK WAS PROFESSIONALLY PAINTED BY ADVANTAGE AUTO WORKS IN RICHLAND HILLS TEXAS. THE BED WAS REMOVED TO PAINT BEHIND THE CAB AND IN FRONT OF THEBED. ALL THE IMPERECTIONS WERE REMOVED AND PAINTED WITH BASE COAT CLEAR COAT. WET SANDED THEN BUFFED TO A BRILLIANT SHINE. THE TRUCK IS LAZER STRAIGHT. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF TINY CHIPS IN THE FRONT OF THE HOOD. ALL THE OUTSIDE TRIM AND CHROME WAS REPLACED WITH NEW PIECES. INCLUDING NEW GM OUTER AND INNER GRILL. NEW BUMPERS WERE INSTALLED. NEW TAIL LIGHT AND SIDE MARKER LENSES AND HEADLIGHTS. NEW OUTSIDE MIRRORS. THE ORIGINAL DOOR HANDLE WHERE RE-INSTALLED BUT NEW ONES WILL COME WITH THE TRUCK. NOT ORIGINAL TO THE TRUCK BUT A NEW TAIL GATE PIECE WAS INSTALLED. THE TRUCK HAS A FEW DINGS INSIDE OF THE BED. MY FATHER WANTED THEM LEFT IN THERE SO HE WOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO HALL ANYTHING IN THERE WHICH HE NEVER DID BESIDES GROCERIES. THE TRUCK STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL PAINT INSIDE THE CAB EVEN THE DOOR JAMS. THE ROCKER AREA HAD TO BE PAINTED FOR THE ORIGINAL OWNER WORE THE ORIGINAL PAINT OFF BY STEPPING IN AND OUT OF THE TRUCK.THE SPEAKERS WERE INTALLED BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER. A NEW FACTORY REPRODUCTION STEERING WHEEL HAS BEEN INSTALLED. HOUNDSTOOTH SEAT COVER AND CARPET HAS BEEN INTALLED. THE DOOR PANELS ARE THE ORIGINALS. THIS WAS ORIGINALLY A PARCHMENT TRIM INTERIOR, BUT THE DOOR PANELS WERE RESPRAYED TO BROWN OR SADDLE. NEW CHROME INSTRUMENT BEZEL. FACTORY TACHOMETER HAS BEEN ADDED. NEW DASH PAD INSTALLED. THE TRUCK EVEN RETAINS ALL IT'S ORIGINAL GLASS. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF ROCK CHIPS IN THE WINDSHEILD BUT NO CRACKS. AND THE REST OF THE GLASS IS IN GREAT SHAPE. HAS LATER MODEL RALLY WHEELS. THE TIRES ARE BF GOODRICH. THEY LOOK GREAT BUTMAY NEED SOME NEW ONES LATER ON.DON'T LET THE MILES SCARE YOU. MOST PEOPLE ARENOT HONEST ABOUT THE MILES THEY DISPLAY.THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN TAKEN GREAT CARE OF AND IS WELL SORTED OUT. IT HAD A TICK UNDER 60,000 MILES ON IT WHEN IT WAS PURCHASED IN 1994. IT NOWHAS 123,350.IT HAS NEVER BEEN DRIVEN HARD AND WAS ONLY USED TO DRIVE BACK AND FORTH TO WORK BY MY MOTHER WHEN SHE WORKED AT ALBERTSONS AND WAS USED OCCASIONALLY BY MY FATHER TO RUN ERRANDS AND GO TO CAR SHOWS.IT WAS NEVER DROVE TO WORK BY MY MOTHERAFTER IT WAS PAINTED.THE LAST PHOTO IS OF THE TRUCK WHEN IT WAS STILL IN IT'S ORIGINAL PAINT. THE TRUCK DRIVES LIKE NEW AND CRUISES DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 70 MPH ALL DAY LONG. I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE GEARS IN THE REAR END ARE. BUT IT GETS GOOD GAS MILEAGE. I HAD A 1971 CHEVROLET TRUCK THAT WAS THE SAME WAY. ONLY THE DOOR PANELS, SUN VISORS, SEAT BELTSAND SEAT COVERWERE CHANGED FROM PARCHMENT TO SADDLE. BROWN CARPET WAS ADDED FOR THE C-10 CAME WITH A RUBBER MAT. THE ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET THAT IS ON THE GLOVE BOX DOOR SHOWS WHAT THE TRUCK CAME WITH. IT IS THE ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET.
