1971 Chevrolet Other Pro street Description

So here we have my vega. It's been with me since 2006 and I think it's time for a change. I have win lots of awards with this car even a favorite 50 at the Adirondack nationals. This pro street car was built tight and right. It has a 350 with a Weiand 6-71 blower on top with two edelbrock 500 cfm carbs. It's runs great and is very street friendly even with somewhere around 700hp. There is a turbo 400 manual reverse trans behind it and that goes to the Dana 60 with 411 gears and that turns the 33x19.50 15 Mickey Thompson tires on weld rims. There is a cage in the car only missing the door bars to make it easy to get in and out. There are power windows and power locks plus a stereo. All the gauges have been updated to autometer. The rest of the interior is very clean and all redone when the car was built. The rear wheel opening have been enlarged for the big tires and the rocker panels have been made longer but about two inches for a lower and cleaner look. The exhaust exits just in front of the rear wheels. Ok I lowered the reserve. I have had so many question about the car and I also wanted to thank you all for the positive comments about the car. I see a lot of vega's for sale and this on is my 5th one plus an astre but is the only one that was blown and it does create a moment when you pull into a cruise or show or just stopped at a light in town out for ice cream. If you look on here and other places I se these cars range from 6000 to 35000. Theres another one on here now red with flames and a blower I think the price was 21000 it's not balkhalfed and tubbed like mine but pretty sweet looking. So for just a little more money you can have mine thats over the top done and ready to go.
