2006 Chevrolet Tahoe Description

I have a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV(Police Pursuit Vehicle) for sale. This Tahoe just came out of service from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and is inOUTSTANDINGcondition. All of the miles are highway miles and being from North Carolina it is RUST FREE! The GMT800 series Tahoes where the last of the real truck based Chevrolets. The bumpers are real steel, the seats are firm & supportive, all of the handles and knobs feel like they were made to last, and the sheet metal is much thicker. I have most of the service records from the State Highway Patrol on this Tahoe and they will go with the sale to the new owner. A major plus is that during its 150,000 mile service they did all of the spark plugs, wires, coil packs, coolant flush, water pump, battery, and full set of tires. NCSHP vehicles are on a VERYstrict 6000mimaintenance schedule and always air on the side of caution, meaning if somethingdoesn'tlook like it will make it to the nextpreventivemaintenance interval it is replacedimmediately, as well as if the trooper driving the vehicle requests that a part to be replaced it is. If younotice in the pictures (Pink Ticket) it just went through its last PM interval less than 1000 miles ago getting 2 tires, a oil change, & air filter. I have also compounded, polished, and waxed this Tahoe with Chemical Guys products including JetSeal as the final polish &sealant. The only holes drilled in this Tahoe were in the rear lift gate and can easily beleft or filled in. The way NCSHP lights their Tahoes is a Whelen Talon above the right inside visor and 2 x Whelen 900s on the back tailgateaccounting for the holes, this is to make these vehicles super slick looking as well as for resale,something that they take intoaccount with their equipment placement. Allantennas are lip mount hoodantennas, and microphones and equipment inside are all no drilladhesive or no drill bracket mounted. The only minor/defects/damage/ect. that I have been able to find are: minor paint chips on hood(mostly on the right side of hood), small 1-2" tear in the drivers seat, small dent about the size of a large orange in left rear bumper(looks like it can be pulled out), tire light came on(I believe it is due to the cold weather we have been having,but can't be sure). I have a very large file with tons of NCSHP maintenance history in it, usually it is complete however for whatever reason this unit is missing some of the earlier records. That only means that they got lost, as maintenance is religious with the NCSHP. It will come with 2 brand new Chevrolet keys, as well as 2 unmarked metal keys for a total of 4 keys.

• StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with Proactive Roll Avoidance and traction control is standard. The system also incorporates electronic trailer sway control and hill start assist.

• Skid Plate Package that includes a front underbody shield that starts behind the front bumper and runs to the first cross-member.

• 26-gallon fuel tank

• 160-amp alternator

• heavy-duty 730 CCA battery with run-down protection. Dual 730 CCA batteries are also available.

• A fully integrated electrical system makes it easier for upfitters to install such police-specific equipment as light bars and police radios.

• Radio suppression

• Available left- and right-hand spotlamps

• 100-amp main power supply wiring at the instrument panel and cargo area

• Auxiliary wiring for grille lamps, siren, etc.

• 130 MPH speedometer (1997-1999)
