I am selling my 1999 Chevy Silverado C2500 3/4 ton (8600 LB GVW) Two Wheel Drive Crew Cab Short Box. It has the Vortec 454 with the 4L80E transmission. It has been lowered 3" in front and 4" in the rear. It has been the best pickup I have ever owned. It has been maintained very well. It has had the oil and filter changed every 3000 miles and the transmission oil and filter has been changed and every 30,000 miles. I have owned it 16 years and I bought it when it was a year old with 18,000 miles. It now has almost 158,000 miles on it and the engine and transmission are original. It starts and runs good and uses less than a quart of oil between oil changes. I also use Lucas oil stabilizer at every oil change. It has a K&N Filter Performance Intake Kit and a stainless steel Magnaflow performance muffler. The front brakes are new with newbrake pads and rotors. The air conditioning blows ice cold. All controls work fine. The onlytime ithas everlet me downwas whenthe in-tank electric fuel pump failedat 117,000 miles. I also replaced the starter with a lifetime unit from O'Reilly's. The tires are nearly new and the are mounted on OEM 2002 Chevy aluminum wheels. The rearend is a heavy duty posi-tractiondifferential with a 3:73-1 ratio. The body is dent and rust free.The paint has great gloss andsome chips as you would expect after 16 years.It has never had a major accident andis not a rebuilder or salvage vehicle. It has a leather interior and the seats and original carpet are like new. It has no rips, tears or worn spots in the seats, and the headliner is perfect. I just had a new windshield installed this month. The box has a BedRug carpeted box liner since it was new and the box doesn't have a scratch in it. The box is covered with a fiberglass locking bed cover. It has the trailer package with a heavy duty receiver hitch. It is a very clean truck that is in great condition for its age and miles, and there were very few two wheel drive crew cab short box models made and fewer that have survived.
