Up for sale is a 2006 Chevy Malibu 4 door sedan with the 2.2L Ecotec 4 Cylinder engine and automatic transmission. The current mileage is 148,600. The exterior is dark blue and the interior is light grey. The vehicle is currently registered and I have a clean title in hand. The car drives nicely and gets great gas mileage. The car is located in Victorville, CA.
This vehicle is being sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. You may come test drive the vehicle and I welcome you to bring along a mechanic. This is a cash only sale. I will disclose everything I know about the car below.
Pictures and video below!
Engine
- Check engine lights for codes P0068 (Throttle Body Air Flow Performance) and P0106 (MAP Sensor Performance). I have been told a tune up and a new MAP sensor should fix this problem. Parts for a complete tune up including: plugs, coil packs, boots, MAP sensor, and MAF sensor cost less than $300.00. I do not have the time or energy to preform this tune up myself.
Transmission
Heating and Air Conditioning
Interior
- No rips or tears. Some minor staining on the left side of the passenger seat.
Exterior
- Paint is shiny and in good shape. There are some minor scratches around the car which you can see in the pictures. The car hit a small pole very slowly on the passenger front side and the bumper is slightly out of place and some touch up paint has been applied. You can't tell unless you are specifically looking for the damage.
Wheels / Tires
Other
- The airbag light sometimes comes on and throws code B0012 (Driver Frontal Deployment Loop Stage 1 Resistance Above Threshold). I have been told the connector behind the air bag is loose. If you smack the steering wheel the light goes off.
- The car comes with 1 key and 0 key fobs.
Here is a walk around video of the Chevy Malibu. In this video you will see the inside, outside, and the engine running.
