1996 Chevrolet Tahoe LS Description

This is a very unique Tahoe that I have known since it was new setting on the Showroom floor at the Chevrolet dealership that I manage in Enid Oklahoma. We sold this new in 1996 right off the showroom floor. I have known the owner of this Tahoe ever since. Don't let the mileage scare you and I will tell you why. This Tahoe was traded back into our dealership in June 2016. At that time I was looking for a vehicle for me to drive as a hunting vehicle and when I saw this one I thought to myself this could be a great hunting vehicle being that it was 4 wheel drive. Knowing the history of the vehicle I checked the service records in our computer system and found that it was serviced in our service department 141 different times. I have never seen a vehicle maintained as well as this Tahoe was. Anything from a simple oil change to an engine replacement had been done.(New engine at 166000 miles)So I bought it thinking I would use it for a hunting vehicle. So as I drove it for the next few weeks my wheels began to turn. What if I did this? What if I bought a new? What if? So over the next several weeks I, replaced the blower motor, had all of the rust removed and replaced with new sheet metal (not bondo), installed new fender flares, installed a 2 inch lift, painted the flares and lower body silver, bought new floor mats, a new grill, all new exterior lights, new mirrors, chrome nerf bars, new inside drivers door handle, new front brake pads, a few new hoses, body side molding and a few other things I can't remember right now. Tires are Goodyear Wranglers and are like new. The Carfax shows aminor vehicle accident on 11/28/2014 which was at a stop light. This Tahoe wasbumped in the back and pushed into the vehicle in front of it only scratching the front and back bumpers. They were both replaced with new GM bumpers in our body shop.Everything on this vehicle works and the vehicle runs and drives great. I have given up my 2016 Chevrolet 1500 Crew Cab LTZ demo and drove this Tahoe for the past 6 months. After spending all of the money on this Tahoe likeI did I never used it as my "Hunting Vehicle".So here is the problem, It is not that I don't love this Tahoe anymore. The problem is that my wife has not gotten used to riding around in a vehicle that doesn't have, heated leather seats, usb ports for her cell phone, XM radio, lighted visor mirror, and the list goes on. With my 37 years of being in the automobile business I can honestly say I think you would love this Tahoe and hopefully enjoy driving it like I have for the past 6 months.
