1964 chev fleetside shortbed.This old truck comes from high desert area of NE Ca.I have reconditioned it to become anything you like.It has been blasted to bare metal and primed the first coat.M ost of bodywork has been reworked or replaced and then primered again with PPG 321.Althuogh in pretty decent shape to begin with,I reskinned one door the other is new-repaired front fender lowers,repeaired rocker panel and floorboards.The bed has two new wheel arches and driver side lower rear panel. The bed also has brand new wood andstrips/bolts well finished with Minwax. Interior has been painted-soundmat installed with new carpet and seat upholstery.Cab has new window seals,door seals and new passenger glass.New left door has new latch linkage,latch and window crank.I have installed a brand new Americanautowire # 500560 harness throughout.This harness will allow you to addA, power windows and seats,has vss for elect. instruments and tranny control. The running gear is all original 230 6cyl. 4 spd manual.The truck runs and drives just as is and everything works,the old six will need attention eventually as it smokes a little.Probably needs a throwout bearingif the noise bothers you.My intention with this tuck was to present a "blank" canvas for you to Take it from here to complete your dream truck,add new engine suspension etc.All the grunt work is essentially done. Frame has been derusted and painted,engine compartment painted. The two coats of primer can be blocked out and accept any paintjob you can afford .The 5 wheels are Centerline top of the lin, almost new tires.I found it for you,Have receipts for nearly7K$ in parts and worked on it since Feb 2016.
