1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Description

Excellent 1996 Z28 Chevrolet Camaro. Privately owned by me. 84,833 original miles (may go up in next few days, but I'll try not to drive it, seriously). I have several other cars that's why I'm selling this one, I need to downsize due to a divorce at the old age of 64. 350 LT1 with automatic transmission. Convertible top with factory parade boot and it's factory bag that fits in the trunk. Cloth interior with NO tears or stains that I can see. No dash cracks, NONE! Always garaged kept. Two previous owners as far as I know, I'm the third owner. I also keep it in a garage. No clear coat peeling ANYWHERE, PERIOD. Nice paint except for a very few very small scratches. I tried to take pictures of the two very small scratches on the right front bottom (that are hairline in size and only an inch or so long) of the passenger front fender, but they are so small they would not show up. The biggest flaw in the paint is there are a few very small road chips on the bottom of the front bumper from road chips. They should be visible in the pictures. Car is 20 years old. Hard to find them this nice at this price. I also cannot find any dings on the body, that's how nice it is. Runs, shifts, drives, stops, all just fine and like it should. A/C blows COLD. Heat, defroster, all work EXCELLENT. Factory AM / FM cassette player still works and sounds fine. NO service engine soon lights come on or are on, none of that non sense. (See picture of engine just started up and running).
It went through complete service last January including oil and filter change, transmission filter and fluid change, rear end gasket and fluid change with Valvoline synthetic gear oil and also the 4 ounces of Chevrolet additive for a positraction rear end which it has. Also changed was it's water pump and two hood struts. Also the spark plugs were changed then with new A/C Delco CORRECT iridium spark plugs for this year LT1. Mechanically everything is working just as it should on this car. Cosmetically very nice too. It has it's original owner's manual in the glove compartment. Power top works fine. Power driver's seat works fine. Passenger front seat is manually adjusted as from factory. Has keyless (remote) entry with ONE remote and driver's key and trunk key. All works fine. Has locking Stant brand gas cap with it's key.
Bright Aqua metallic exterior paint is what Chevrolet called this color as far as I know. Some people say it's Quasar Blue, I'm really not sure but I think Firebird's called the same color that. In any regards, it's a very nice blue that looks even better in person than the pictures. Some pics were in the shade, but I moved the car to my neighbor's driveway to get as many in the bright Florida sun as I could. The car was not even washed before I took these pictures today, there may be a slight layer of dust in areas if you can see it.
Interior is very nice with no cracking at all on the dash or seats torn, that type of things, Pictures should show this. If you want any more pictures of something I did not cover, please ask.
NOTE: I can only insert 24 pictures (Ebay's maximum it seems). I took many more of the interiors, wheels, tires, etc. and can provide them upon request. Also, the tires are all four matching Falken 245/50R16 and have about 35 percent tread left (15,000 miles left on them I'd say), not dry rotted or damaged, and evenly worn as best I can tell. The factory aluminum wheels are excellent condition, not all curb torn up or faded, any of that type of thing. Still bright and shiny.
I took about 50 pictures, but Ebay would only allow me to load these 24. I wanted to post many more pictures of the interior, wheels, etc. but was also trying to show how nice the body and paint are on this car too.
I will only accept a non refundable deposit of $500 due immediately with an agreed upon price through Paypal and the balance paid within ten days in cash or a cashiers check that clears in every way through my bank before the car will be removed from my premises. NO EXCEPTIONS! NO PAYPAL for the balance!!! ONLY PAYPAL FOR THE DEPOSIT!
And you don't have to tow this one away, it can be driven anywhere by the new owner. I will assist in what I can do for the new owner in that respect. If they want to do a transport company, I will do what I can to help, but - again - this one can be driven away with no problems, just bring a tag if that's what you want to do.
Please ask any and all questions, I'm sure I missed things people may want to know. I did not take any pictures of the underside because I'll have to jack it up to do that and there is NO rust under this car. It's a Florida car. and never driven on salt roads PERIOD. No oil or other leaks under it either. I can't stand leaks in my garage.
The rear (back) window is glass, original with it's defroster that still works, but has started to separate at it's top center from the convertible top. The only thing wrong with this car in my opinion. I have been told it can be fixed by a competent upholstery shop, but there are none where I live (one, but I wouldn't use them). The convertible top itself has no tears and is original to the car. The car is located on the west coast of Florida about 80 miles north of Tampa in Beverly Hills, Florida 34465. If the top looked wrinkled, it's because it's been down in my garage for sometime now. Takes a few minutes to "unwrinkle" and look smooth again.
Again, pretty much bone stock 1996 Z28 convertible ready for cruising this summer, even has a full tank of Sunoco 93 octane in it (if I don't drive it anymore until I sell it).
Don't be afraid to make a SERIOUS offer. Worst I can say is no. Also, PLEASE don't make an offer or use the Buy It Now unless you intend and are serious about buying this car. NO BIDS OR OFFERS FROM PEOPLE WITH ZERO (0) OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK!!!! I'm selling it at a very reasonable price for what it is and don't need any games played at this stage of my (or your) life. Non paying winners will be reported to Ebay and Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. I might even get Vladimir Putin involved if necessary. I'm sure that'll teach them.
Thank you for looking and checking the car out. Good luck.
Bob.
