For sale, 1967 Chevelle 283 original 2 barrel engine (see picture of engine code), A/T power glide transmission, 10 bolt rear end.
Cars Options:Factory power steering, Factory Power brakes, Factory front disc brakes.
Exterior: Body straight in black primer. Original color of the car was maroon. There are 2 small holes on the lower driver and passenger side near the front door, easy fix, (see picture). The trunk is solid and was replaced with a “3 piece floor trunk kit” (See picture). I did not spray the trunk with trunk splatter so you can see the installation of the 3 piece trunk floor kit. All glass rolls up and down with no problems. The doors close nicely without slamming the doors closed. Car comes with the rally rims you see, they are 15” rally rims.
Interior: The original color was maroon and now is black. Bucket seats, column shift interior. Nice interior. The one front seat has a rip and the heading liner near the rear window hangs a little. I do not see any rust on the front pillar posts, dash, or rear package tray where the rear window meets. The rug looks like it was replaced a couple of years ago, no rips in the rug. I do see the original seat belts with the seat belt tag still attached. (Inner seat belts are not installed but are included in the car).
Engine Compartment:Original Factory power brakes, Original Factory Power Steering, Original Harrison radiator, Original short water pump (look at top of water pump) without hole in top. Factory 2 BBL carb, Original air cleaner, Original brackets, Original pulleys.
Car runs nice, but the carburetor needs to be rebuilt. (Idles high). Drives straight down the road when you let go of the steering wheel. Horn works.
All around the 1967 Chevelle is a good running car that needs minor work. It is NOT a trailer queen or show car. For a car that is 50 years old, it’s in good shape and would be a great father and son restoration project, or would make a great RestoMod.
Clean CT Registration, Curent registration clean, (In CT no title is required for older cars), it was registered in CT 3 weeks ago, clean registration.
After the auction, buyer pays a $500.00 deposit via paypal, the rest of the money dues is paid in the form of a bank check (must clear before i release the car), money order, or cash. Please note I'm going on vacation 01-13-17 - 01-17-17. You can pick up the car before or after these dates.
