2000 Chevrolet Astro Description

2000 Chevrolet Astro Van. I Was using Van to get to work everyday. Van had problems starting after sitting in yard on my days off. Van started fine during work days.Mechanic advised Van has problem starting due to fuel flow or pressure (Fuel Pump Issue).. Needs Repair to start.Needs to be towed for repair. Battery is pretty new and strong. New A/C system put in months ago. Tires in good condition. Great work Van. Just purchased a 2005 Kia Sedona as a replacement for work. NOTE:3 Possible problems advised by Mechanic: A fuel issue on an Astro van is one of three things 1. water or bad gas in the tank. To much alcohol will ruin the cat converter. Bad gas can be fixed with an additive, I recommend "Sea Foam". 2. a failing fuel regulator 3. a bad fuel pump. There is a connection on the fuel rail where the pressure can be tested.
