1974 Chevrolet G20 Van TAILGATING KING Description

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME! PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 805-8O38 WITH ANY QUESTIONS. I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO A BUY IT NOW FOR SERIOUS BUYERS. METALLICA!!!! So you say you are a big fan of one of the greatest Heavy Metal bands in history?James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Cliff Burton, Jason Newsted, and Lars Ulrich (sorry Mustaine but you bug and Trujillo you got to the party late)need no introduction for the legends in Metal that they are. How can you not want to be cruisingHIT THE LIGHTSaround Hollywood? MOBILE MEDICAL METALLICA IS WHAT THIS WORLD REALLY NEEDS. Take it to concerts, take it to tailgate parties at the football games, park it in front of your bar, use it for advertising, haul your band around, or just park it in your Man Cave. It does not matter. If attention is what you want, THIS IS IT! I named it Hit The Lights and this 1974 Chevrolet G10 Van is ready for you to have the times of your life with you and a bunch of your buddies! It is a one-of-a-kind custom that you could take to a million shows, but you will have the only one like it. It has never been shown yet, but it should be. Vannin and the van craze have become huge in the past few years. And why shouldn't they? The ideas and innovations were some of the coolest things to come out of the 1970s. I have had pretty much every kind of car from a 1932 Ford Coupe toa Hot Rodto a 1967 Corvette roadsterto chopped customs. This thing gets more attention and smiles than any of them combined. It started out as a small town Fire Department ambulance. It has always been well maintained. I have all the service records from the city and even the handwritten call logs from the calls that the Medical crew went to. The body is rock solid and rust free. The floorboards are very nice. It does have a small crease at the front of the driver's door where the wind blew the door open (it has since had a stop strap installed). Nothing big but I have no interest in hiding anything from anybody. The van is not perfect by any means, but it is nice. Unlike a lot of Ebayers, I actually care that the buyer is happy and has fun with their purchase. It was lowered with drop spindles in front and has Foose 20x10 wheels in back and 18x8 in the front. Even for a lowered van, it rides and handles very well. It has a 350 c.i. small block Chevy that runs very well. It starts right up and settles into a smooth idle. I would drive it anywhere. If you want a dream Road Trip, fly in and cruise this home. It sounds awesome with the Hooker Sidepipes. They have mufflers inside so, while it sounds heavy, it is not obnoxious. It just sounds right. The van has power steering and power brakes with front discs. All of the lights on the top, front, back, sides, and grill actually work. It had a newer style light bar on it, but the Fire Chief was able to be talked out of a vintage style light bar on an old fire truck out back. I can text you a video of all the lights on. It would be perfect for parades and charity events. It has an old GROWLER siren that is one of the coolest parts. You simply cannot turn that thing on without smiling. It is impossible. It is EXTREMELY loud. It was taken to someNFL games and it was louder than the one they were using in the stadium. The interior is cool. It still retains the ambulance look with a couple of CBs, intercom, neck braces, blankets, vests, and even the plaster body parts in fake formaldehyde jars! It has an Xray machine on the wall complete with the bullet in the head Xray, but the screen actually slides back and has a big flat screen TV behind it. The TV swivels out and has it's own battery and inverter. I was planning on installing a high end audio/video system but I will leave that to the new owner to decide. I have a working vintage P.A. system for it but it is not currently installed. I am selling this because I also have my 1967 Ford Econoline Shorty van with a Motorhead theme named the General Lemmy and my dog Johnny Cash likes it better. And so do I.I can't drive both, so I figured someone else can have the fun with HTL. I could go on for hours about this one but you get the idea. It's cool. Clean, clear title in hand with current registration. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County San Diego. Thanks!

Click on these to see videos of the van. Sorry about the low quality. They were transferred from my phone and the file size was changed. The stripes are reflective at night. The front Metallica logo is backwards so people see it in their mirror when you come up on them in traffic.
