2004 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 LT Description

Up for sale is a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado LT 3500 long bed, crew cab, dually - four wheel drive pickup with the DURAMAX diesel and six speed Allison trans. I have owned it for about two and half years and it has worked well for me and now I do not need it anymore because I'm changing jobs. It was set up as a transport truck to move recreational vehicles. I also used it as a pilot car for oversized loads.
I take good care of my vehicles including sensible driving habits so when it needed work I had it done by real mechanics. All work and servicing was done professionally by reputable service centers. I tried to change oil and the filter every 5000 miles but a couple times it was closer to 7000 or so. The fuel filter was changed every other oil change. Clean fuel is very important with the LB7 engine. I have also been very strict to treat all fuel run with Stanadyne blue label or Lucas fuel treatment. I've been running the Napa Gold or Wix fuel filters which are, I believe, are least a 5 micron if not 3. Injectors were changed last year and they are scanned often (with OBDII) and are all working right and even with each other.
The engine was replaced by Sauder's Automotive in Sidney Ne. about a hundred thousand miles ago and it has 100K miles less than the truck The transfer case and flex plate were replaced, front wheel bearings, just had the rear differential rebuilt and the drive shaft balanced, and new rear main seal. The other common things have been replaced as well, water, steering pumps a battery or two, brake pads. etc. Look at it as the truck has been "road tested". It wasn't in the best condition when I got it and now all the weak parts have been replaced. With proper care and use you know diesels can run a long time. When it needed something, I had it done. I currently have set of Michelin tires on with about half the tread available. Steer tires about 3/4s left.
A folder with receipts for ALL work done, including the engine replacement, which shows the cylinder compression and oil pressure, even oil changes and a copy of the KBB printout are all available for inspection.
It has some miles on it (497xxx, it had 249xxx when I bought it) but remember the deliveries of RV's is loaded miles one way and an empty trip back for another unit the other way, and the pilot car work was all "unloaded". Not like buying a snowplow vehicle where the mileage is almost twice what is shown because of so much running in reverse!
There is the ball for the goose neck B&W bed hitch and "new" Curt class three receiver hitch. Set up with a trailer brake controller and 7 pin pigtail jacks at the rear and in the bed for fifthwheel/gooseneck trailers.
Also available for sale are; a couple receiver ball mounts, one is a heavy 2 5/16" equalizer hitch with the spring bars and draw bar brackets etc., a pintle hook on a 2" mount for the receiver, a B&W companion fifth wheel adapter hitch and a combination fuel tank/tool box which holds just about 90 Gals.
I had a new windshield and sliding rear window installed recently and otherwise the interior show some wear but is in fairly good shape with the standard features; satellite radio, recently serviced AC, tilt wheel, cruise, cab steps, all the normal stuff. Included is a box w/ a couple extra fuel filters, belt, etc.
The truck is being used as collateral against a loan so an extra step is involved to transfer the title
The Kelly Blue book with the stated miles and in good condition books for a little more than $14.000 retail.
I didn't take much time to clean it or with the photos. More photos could be sent if needed.
Good luck and have fun.
