1965 Chevrolet Corvette Fuel Injected Description

This is a beautiful 1965 fuel injected Corvette convertible with options including a telescopic steering wheel, AM/FM radio and clock. This car has a manufacturing date of December, 1965 which would make it one of the first of the last fuel injected cars to come off the manufacturing line. This car received a frame off restoration approximately 5 years ago. All numbers (3871317303196-21) were stenciled on the frame after powder coating. The tank has a stencil number of St. Louis 3819505. All frame components were replaced with new rubber and ball joints. The rear spring was replaced. All drive line components are original to the vehicle. Transmission is a Munci M20 with stock shifter. Engine is original with a block casting 3782870 and engine numbers 5103415FT122HG with correct broach marks. The alternator and starter motor carry correct numbers for a "64" manufactured car. The Kelsey Hayes rims are correct for the manufactured year. This car has side exhaust installed. Even through the 65 did not come with this option, this car has side exhaust with GM part numbers which might suggest it was installed by the dealer at time of purchase.
