History
The car had a frame on restoration at some by the prior owner. I do not know what year. I purchased the car in 2012 from Corvette Mike Midwest, a classic Corvette dealer in Chicago, and brought it to Seattle. Corvette Mike Midwest is very particular about the cars they purchase and offer for sale.
The original text Corvette Mike Midwest wrote about the car when I purchased it in 2012 was as follows:
“Very nice 1965 Rally Red Corvette convertible with black interior and top, with a matching numbers 327 cubic inch 300 horsepower engine and 4 speed manual transmission. It has the factory wheel covers with radial white sidewall tires, power steering and AM/FM radio. This is a very nice frame on restoration with excellent paint and interior, great frame, body and chrome.”
