I'm the Third Owner of this Very Rare 1961 Chevrolet C-10 Apache 10Pickup TruckShort Bed V8 - 3 Spd Trns.
The Blue Patina Paint stands out as a survivor and the Lt Blue is the 3rd color of this truck being a U.S. ForestryOriginal GreenfromCalifornia Right side Visor Delete Truck and with Original Black Floor mat and added aDeluxe Black Steering Wheel "RARE".
This particular truck has the oversized hood that to me is one of the coolest features of this ride. Installed is a Rebuilt 283 SB with Comp Cam (Nice & Rumpy) with 500 miles with a 3-speed manual, transmissio, New 2 1/2" DualExhaust I have done extensive work on this car to make it the way it is Now.New 283 Motor with Comp Cam (Rumpy, New water pump, New Radiator with new hose, New Electric Fa, Clutch & Bearing & Resurfaced Flywheel thatwas done last year.Newly Rebuilt OriginalRochester2 BBl Carb NewAccell9MM Plug wires with fiber glass boots and Pertronx ll flamethrower Distributor Internal upgrade and coilNew Fuel tank with New Sending Unit New fuel Pump all new hoses.New 2 1/2" Exhaust Manifolds with Flow Master mufflers & "DualExhaust.New Brakes with front disc droppedspindles, Rear drums all new wheels cylinders and shoes, New U Joints and center carrier bearing.New front signal and rear tail light lens. plus all new steering bearing with new signalswitchinternals.New Front and Rear Triple Chrome Bumpers plus rear brackets new and new license plate light fixture.New Tires with Custom offset Rear wheels plus the rare 61 dog dish hub caps with dings and dents and bright chrome .New Windshield and side Glass Solex tinted with all new ChannelsSeals and Gaskets Cleaned and greased all window OE regulators roll up nice and firm. The truck has No Rust issues as this came from Corona California all Inner and Outer Rockers and Floor and Frame are solid there is some very minor surface rust that is not a big deal being a 1961 and fromCalifornia. I did doa lotof work on this truck and I'm sure i did forget something Newly installed that is not mentioned.
This Truck drives great with no major issues all gears shift smooth, all lights and turn signals wor, new wipers work but No brights, the speedometer was making some growling noise recentl, I will include a nice used dash speedometer Cluster and the heater appears intact untested (not Needed CA.) front wheelalignment would do justice.This 1961 Chevy Truck is sold as is where is with nowarranty, I do have a Clear California Title in My name and Insured.
