You are viewinga beautifully restored 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2 door hard top that was purchased by my Uncle Post Restorationin November 2011.He has put less than 3,000 miles on the car since. Ithas been used for Local car shows, Parades, and the occasional Sunday afternoon Drive.
The car runs and drives well, and sounds absolutely amazing.Since it has been driven so little, it is probably due for a good tune up. It is carbureted, so it is a little cold nature when starting up. It handles good, and runs Interstate speeds comfortably. The Interior is in great condition andvery comfortable. The Air Conditioner is ice cold. The dash is in good condition, but does have a few small blemishes (has a rub mark on the corner where it meets the Drivers door, and a few small scratches on the underside of the dash beside the steering wheel and ignition switch). The headliner is in pristine condition. All the windows are in great condition and roll up and down with ease (manual). The car is breathtaking under the hood. Everything is clean and well maintained. The body is straight as an arrow, along with the trim. The paint is a 9/9.5 out of 10.
Overall, this is an above average driver car. It is not a Barret Jackson frame off restoration, but the restoration was done very tastefully, Professionally, and using top end parts. I mean, can you beat a Black 55' Chevy 2 door hard top? The car cleans up very well, and turns heads everywhere it goes.
The car came with a binder full of receipts, instillation information, and pictures (pre restoration).
The restorationstartedas a Cream-Green 55' Bel Air with a 350 Engine,Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes, and Black Button Interior (I havepictures before the restoration started).
