1969 Chevrolet SS 2 Dr. Sport Coupe Description

Number matching original car, build sheet available. Built in Fremont CA, Sold at Fairway Chevrolet in San Bruno, CA and still located in Northern California. 46,000 miles on the rebuilt engine, original turbo 400 transmission and rear differential. 396 cu in, 325 horse power with almostall the original parts. Everything is original except for the mufflers. New Flowmaster mufflers were installed when the engine was rebuilt.

The car was repainted in 1994 with the original color. The door jambs and under the hood were not painted to save the original insulation in the hood and the original Blue GM stickers on the jambs. The original wheels have been repainted to factory colors to go with the new red line radial tires.

The front seats were reupholstered in 1994 with factory original covers and new carpet has been installed. The rear seat, head liner, seat belts, front and rear door panels are all original. The dash bezel has been replaced using the original gauge cluster, original radio (not working), glove box and center console. The fuse block has been replaced with a painless fuse block because of corrosion.

The car has been garaged for the last 12 years and on Non Op since 2012. I start the car once a week and drive it around the neighborhood to keep it in good running condition. Great car looking for a great owner.
