Mechanics contact information comes with the car. (Mechanic has a successful NHRA racing team) All replacement parts and upgrades mentioned are brand new out of the box parts. None of the parts mentioned are refurbished, recycled, swap meet or junkyard replacement pieces. Although there is reasonable assurance that the car has been maintained by knowledgeable professionals this doesn't imply that it comes with a warranty. Car is sold "as-is" Positives: Eye catching custom street muscle car classic and extremely popular favorite for a lot of people. It's a fun cruiser, the body is exceptionally straight and the ride is nice and comfortable. Fantastic paint, just about perfect, literally shines like glass. A lot of brand new chrome and accessories. Great exhaust, not obnoxious but very nice. Drives straight, perfectly aligned, steers fantastic and doesn't pull in either direction. Gets a lot of compliments. Starts immediately, every time. To date it's been very reliable. Brake lights, turn signals, emergency flashers, low beams and high beams all in great working order. Carpet and head liner look great. Perfect car for someone with a family that would like to cruise and go to classic car shows on the weekend. Negatives: Paint is fantastic but it is a driver not a trailer queen. There are a few places where the paint has minor almost unnoticeable imperfections. Owner can point them out, general public would never notice. It's a 1971, 46 year old vehicle. It's really nice but not flawless. Small transmission leak when car is undriven for too long. Seems to improve with use. Car will drive in the city or highway without issues but if you're stuck sitting in bumper to bumper traffic it will occasionally start to raise the coolant temperature. All 6 factory cluster gauges are disconnected, aftermarket gauges installed. (AUTOMETER racing gauges) gauges were disconnected by prior owner. It wasn't important enough to me to reconnect considering the aftermarket gauges work just fine. Mileage reads 69,712 but engine has less than 5,000 miles. (Actual mileage unknown) Brakes are new and in good working order for a 1971 vehicle but they're not upgraded to 2017 technology. Disc in front, drum in rear. Interior is very nice but not perfect. New vinyl for front seats is included with car but not installed yet. Drivers side has wear but new owner may not be bothered enough to worry about it. (See photos) Aside from seat wear, picky current owner can point out items that still look nice but could be upgraded (radio, speakers, air louver vent, dynamat sound deadening etc) but general public wouldn't be able to notice at all. Although there has been a ton of upgrades and improvements there are still a few things left to replace or upgrade if the goal is to have the entire car perfect and brand new. General comments: Beautiful Florida muscle car. Current proud owner of car for almost 10 years. In just about 10 years, car has never been out in bad weather, rain or snow. Car has not been further than 10 or so miles at a time from owners house. (20 mile round trip) Owner is selling because the car is meant to be driven and hasn't been out as much as it should. 2 sons are now at college and a pet peeve is keeping the car in the garage, away from people when someone could be enjoying it and showing it off. The car has been loved. No rust whatsoever visible or known to owner. Car is stored in clean, dehumidified garage and has been well maintained. If you're looking for an extremely nice custom classic muscle car, this is your car. (Multiple location, multiple car show trophy winner) Looks, sound, stance, the car is a total eye catcher. You WILL enjoy this car. It has a lot of custom upgrades that give it a typical Hollywood look and sound. Car is fast but it's never been raced or abused in any way. If beautiful but if you're looking for museum quality perfection, this is not the car for you. Although it's ready to go down the road, some things I learned that I wasn't expecting: This car isn't a 2017 brand new car and you'll need to care for it a little differently. If you're a first time classic buyer please understand that little things will more than likely need to be adjusted and maintained more than a brand new car, especially if you store it for any length of time. Buy A LOT OF microfiber cloths, YOU WILL BE shining it constantly. This car has been gently driven and not a trailer queen. It's not a numbers matching, one owner, original paint, low mileage flawless classic. It's been shared with and enjoyed by the public. Its been professionally re-painted and a certified mechanic has been busy upgrading it with new pieces and parts for almost 10 years that I've had it. It's a perfect car for someone who wants a really nice gorgeous custom cruiser that you will most certainly enjoy and only has a couple things left to tinker with if your goal is 100% brand new.
