2001 Chevrolet Express Description

We are selling our 2001 Chevy Express Van with Quigley 4WD conversion. This has been used as our family backup vehicle when we needed 4WD to get around. Before we owned it, it was owned by a Ski Resort who used it to transport food from one part of the resort to another. I can't say enough about the rare 4x4 option on this car. You can read about the conversion by googling "Quigley 4x4" We live in the country and could not have made it through the winter without it. We have always put on heavy duty all terrain tires and have never been stuck. The van seats 12, but one seat belt is broken. The seats can be removed in order to make this a cargo van. The floor of the van is rubber floor liner instead of carpet which is easier to clean up.
Overall the van is in good condition. There are a few things that you should know about. There is rust around the bottom edges of the van. There is also two large scratches on the driver's side of the car. The paint is peeling in several spots including the front grill area of the car. (I have included pictures of all of this). The A/C does not work. Finally, the check engine light will occasionally go off when going up steep hills, and the van will seem bogged down. It has always gone off right away and resumed running fine once we reached the top of the hill. We have had it checked out a couple of different times by different mechanics and no one has been able to pinpoint the problem. It does not normally affect us day to day, but it does happen from time to time.
Finally, this has been a great van for us. It will make an excellent work vehicle as well as a way to move the fam around. It is located in Wintersville, OH which is 45 minutes west of Pittsburgh.
