On Jan-19-17 at 13:26:35 PST, seller added the following information:After a couple of good questions from ebayers, I do not have the build sheet, it did not come with car, When I purchased car I paid good money for it, and needed to know, authenticity of being a ss, the proof was the obvious during the restoration, one, being I dug years of cru, grime, off the tranny and located the vin number on trans pad, to my research they did Not put TH400's in anything but SS cars. also the fenders OEM had the original ss holes drilled in them, the car was autum gold and retained all original metal other than quarters and passenger door, the interior door panels had ss on them. they wereold beat up saddle colored interior parts, the car still retains original dash cluster which is the triple round gauges, 12 bolt rear original, trans tunnel where shifter goes through had a Only could be factory hole for it cut outfor it, along withthehorsehoe shifter holes and grill of course had big un mistake able SS.one ebayer noticed the steering coupler is not big block, he is correct, to my ignorance, I purchased car with another part on thecar.the guy I bought itfrom had several chevelles around, prob used what he needed, this is what I know, ive restored the car, and I (realize) with out the sheet of paper (build sheet)I cannot expect to bring as much on saleas those ss's that do, the reserve with the 496 will reflect that, I did not want to disclose this but why not im into the 496 just shy of 9k cheaper than the gm crate 572 the way I see it. If this doesn't help you please check out the other 70's on ebay theres a few. again thanks for looking...
