1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Description
1970 chevelle SS Body only.......This has been on our place since 1984 and we cannot find the Title, will come with a Tx. bill of sale for parts only.As you can see it's pretty rough, but has a good cowl tag and decent firewall area)window area is rusted. This was a 396/350hp,4-speed,12 bolt car, cowl induction hood with f41 suspension. Manual steering, with power disc brakes. SS Dash and a bench seat-no console, shoulder harness belts, fresh air vents car. The steering column is the one from the car, but the wheel is from an Impala.I carried the licenseplate to the dmv and tried to go back to the last time it was registered for the VIN, but it was off the system as it was last on the road in 1984 and I can't find the Title. The driver door opens and all 3 windows(passenger door side broken) roll up and down . The 12 bolt was put in our convertiblelong ago and replaced with a 10 bolt out of a 1970 El Camino. Which is also the front end on the car now.The heater system is still mounted inside the firewall, but all the other dash parts are in boxes( see pictures of the extra stuff on the floor), This car is rusted all over, but has a usable cowl/firewall, SS bezeland maybe some other things, SS rear bumper. I also have the rear glass, but didn't takeapicture and the bench seat as well-but rough(springs are good-top and bottom), still has the transmissioncrossmember in it also..the right frame horn was cut off years ago.The car rolls and we can help load on a trailer, but the shipping is the buyer's responsibility. This car does not run,or come with an engine or trans,it will need to be towed on a trailer and comes only with a tx bill of sale. No reserve auction, pmt to be received with-in 3 days of auction close and feedback will be left as soon as it's received.Thank you for looking!!. We have other cars we are going to sell over the next few weeks so check back.
On Jan-16-17 at 07:36:43 PST, seller added the following information:903--------725--------3622 Jeff To answer the ss questio, And yes, I just haven't found the frame vin yet. The 396 went to a friend years back, the hood was taken in 94 and the boys who took it made a snow sled out of it before I got it back from the police( very sad), the 4-speed went into my sister's 67 rsss camaro, the 12 bolt went into our convertible. I will try to look more on the frame, but it is raining heavy today. the places to look for on the frame would be easier to lift the body, but I don't have lift, but we'll see. I appreciatethe questions and will try to help.
