1958 Chevrolet Impala Delray Description

This is a 1958 Chevy Delray this is a cheaper line than the famous impala. It is a very nice survivor car only having one respray and never restored . It has all original panels very little rust . rear floor pan and rear of inner rocker have small spot with some minor rust but none in trunk or rockers or supports it only has a couple bubbles on quarter and trunk lid this is a solid ca, the paint needs attention and has blemishes and issues and needs repainted to be show car quality . The car could be buffed out to remove a lot of these issues but looks good as is . It has one replacement panel over one headlight other than that looks to be solid . You are welcome to look at in person before purchasing . It is a low miles car approximately 70000 miles with all original interior has one rip on drivers seat on a seam and at bottom of door panels. This is a full interior car and has a front and rear seat and all windows roll down .Some people confuse this model as a salesman coupe but IT IS NOT! it is a full five passenger car all original it is just a stripped down version like a bel-air or Biscayne with no options like external mirror, door arm rest . This is a six cylinder and automatic two speed power glide with aftermarket air conditioning this model doesn't have all the flashy 3 inch wide chrome trim of the impala but still has the same style and I like the less dressed look. The impala has to much "bling"for me. This car runs and drives as it should but doesn't have power anything but it is all available now in aftermarket.

I just want to add that this is a very nice looking car and a very solid survivor that has had very little done to it . I think the new owner will be very pleased . I don't want It to seam like I was running the car down about the flaws it has I just don't want any surprises. I'd rather over show the car than not share enough it is an older paint with flaws from age and from painter there are no major issues like sags or run, just dir, chips and a few Bubbles on quarter and a lead seam has bubbles too. This car is priced accordingly and has a low reserve because of these issues but overall the car shows well and gets a lot of love and attention everywhere.
