1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 belair Description
First let me say I have owned this car for over 25 years. It's not a pampered trailer queen, but it is a great example of a 1957 Chevrolet which has held up very well over time. It still retains all the original steel in the trunk, floors, body, etc. I bought it when we lived in Tennessee for my wife who wanted a car like her dad had when she was little. I did all the work on this car. If you're looking for a Chip Foose Chevy, this isn't it. But it is a solid vehicle and in very nice condition. It's been stored in a good building under cover for a very long time. Quite sure it has less than 200 miles on it in the last 20+ years.
1957 Chevy Belair, 2 dr htp, Cragar wheels, BF Goodrich TA tires, 350 cu in, Muncie 4 spd, Flowmaster Exhaust, 12 bolt rear end, Radiator has extra rows, Electric fan, original drum brakes were just reworked, moldings are good, bumpers are fair, glass is good, interior is 95% done with seats from a 1968 grand prix, new head liner in place. Door Panels need to be covered and rear arm rest sections. I was planning to install disc brakes, vintage air, gauge package, electric wiper motor, engine dress up package, but too many other projects have taken priority. These items are about a $2700.00 investment but the car does fine for now. I will get to it, just not now. It's been very happy just staying warm and cool in the building sitting among the other old cars talking about the good ol' days. We all get better with age, and value of these vehicles seem to be holding their own.
I don't need to sell the car but will probably never get back to give it what it deserves. Not crazy about trades. I'll be glad to call you if you have more questions. I've tried to describe the car as best as I know. Car is in NW Alabama. Car for sale local so auction can end at any time. Deposit will be non-refundable.
