1969 Chevrolet Caprice Description
This is an original 95-97% Rust free, originally from Arizona 1969 Chevrolet Caprice 2-dr. It's a #s matching 427-325 hp with 95,000 original miles. It also has the original #s matching turbo 400 transmission, and a 12 bolt rear end. The Carburator was just professionally rebuilt and the car runs and drives great. It is loaded with cool options, Hideaway Headlamps ( working order), very rare Fiber Optics option, Bucket Seats, factory Console with the original Horseshoe style Shifter, Tilt Wheel, Power Windows (all work), Air Conditioning (complet, but not cold, it could just need a charge, I never brought it to have it done), Nice originalTinted Glass, original Vinyl Top (no rips or tears) and no evidence of rust underneath, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes. The car has had one repaint, many years ago, but was redone in it's original code 50 White exterior, it still has great shin, with no dents or dings. The Interior is mostly all origina, and in amazing condition, the Dash Pad is Mint, the Steering Wheel is also like new, no rips or tears in the original Seat Covers, Headliner is near perfect, the center Console is also very nice, I believe it is the original Carpet and it is in awesome condition. It has nice 15'x7 Rally Wheels, with new Trim Rings and Center Caps, the tires are in excellent condition. The car is original with the exception of the original Radio being replaced with an AM/ FM Cassette deck, no holes were cut, fits in the factory opening, then Headers were added along with a Dual Exhaust system that were added years ago, before the previous owner ( one side has a small Header gasket leak). The original Spare Tire and Jack Assembly are in the original speckle painted, Rust Free Trunk . This is a very nice Straight, no non sense, factory 427 Caprice . The underside is just as nice as the exterior, beautiful original floors, Frame Rails are super clean and straight, no evidence of ever being in a collision. ****** I also bought a nice set of 1969 Date coded Exhaust Manifolds that will come with the car. I couldn't figure out how to add more pictures, so please contact m, and I'll send you what ever you need. I've had the car about a year, and bought it from an 80 year old gentleman that owned it for 16-17 years. It was rarely driven, basically just sat in a big dry garage with his other collector cars. I will require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit at the end of the Auction, the balance is to be paid in Full, with in 7 days. I will be happy to work with you and a shipping company, if you choose not to pick it up in person. Thanks for your time. Todd, Six 1 Six 4 4 Six 3 Six 2 4.),
