1999 Chevrolet Tahoe Description

I have three trucks and need to sell one. This is my two door Tahoe from 1999, the last year it was produced. It's the closest thing to the latest model Blazer you can get, so it's desirable. I don't think Chevy made a full size two door SUV since. I bought it to fix up, but I haven't had the time. I parked it a couple years ago when the front brakes went bad. I didn't have time to work on it, so I bought a new truck instead. It definitely needs additional work. I kept a log of all the issues, but I haven't found it yet. I'll updated this as soon as I locate it. Off the top of my head, I remember the full tank leaks a little bit when it's completely full. The fuel gauge doesn't work properly. The A/C isn't cold anymore. The tires may or may not pass inspection. I'm not sure. It needs an alignment, so the uneven wear on the front tires could mean they need to be replaced. The front suspension feels loose, so it needs work. Possibly ball joints, but I don't know much about suspension work. The whole truck could use a good cleaning. The interior especially. I would probably replace the carpet rather than deal with it. I drove it around the neighborhood occasionally, so it didn't sit for so long. I drove it again this morning and the SES light came on. I'm not sure why. I didn't hear or feel anything wrong that could cause it. The 4x4 still works. I put it in 4-low, which it clearly shifted into. And it went back into 2-wheel just fine. Despite having so many miles on the odometer, the engine itself only has about 80k miles. I asked the previous owner for the paperwork, but they didn't have it anymore unfortunately. They said it was replaced, because the place where they took it to for an oil change forgot to put the plug back in, so the oil leaked out and the engine failed. They paid to have a new one installed. I think there are a few more problems with the truck. I'll list everything as soon as I find my notes. I think it has every option available except for leather seats. Power everything, push button four wheel drive, tow package, etc. I might still have the window sticker that shows everything. The engine runs well. The power windows and seats work fine. All glass is intact. The exhaust is quiet. No leaks I believe. Seat upholstery is decent, not torn. The body is in nice condition and straight as far as I can tell. There's a minor accident on the vehicle history report. But I don't know the details and haven't noticed any evidence of body repair. A couple light bulbs need replacing and the headlights adjusted. All lights up front are aftermarket. But I will include the original factory lights. The truck also has about $1,500 worth of stereo equipment. I'll list everything in complete detail when I find my notes. You must take care of picking up this truck. I highly recommend you don't drive it home, due to bad brakes up front. I've only been driving it slowly around the neighborhood. Finally, I don't expect the full $5k asking price. I'm not quite sure what it's worth without some more investigating. But I'll consider offers in the mean time. I have it listed locally, so it may sell here and I will end the listing accordingly. I have the title in hand. Also, pictures were taken today, May 8th.
-----Edit 5-9-16:
I found the list of issues and I've remembered them all above except for the cruise control. It doesn't always work. If you move the lever around just right it will function properly. My guess is the electrical contacts need cleaning. Also the windshield wiper blades need replacing. That's all the mechanical stuff I'm aware of. The rest is cosmetic. Nothing major. One thing is the running board on the driver's side front, there is a piece missing. You can see it in the first picture. The paint on the rear passenger side fender flare is coming off. I accidentally did that at the car wash with a pressure washer. There are a couple small dents in the front passenger side fender. You can see them in the fourth picture. There are little issues like that, which you would expect from a vehicle that's 17 years old. Overall it's pretty decent. It just needs a good cleaning. A lot of the older Tahoes I've looked at have terrible seats. But these actually look quite nice. I don't know if the previous owner replaced them. But they appear to be factory original to me. Also, there are two previous owners on the vehicle history report. But actually it was owned by a family. The title just changed names. I considered that to be a single owner vehicle when I bought it originally. But you can take that as you'd like. Personally I think even three owners isn't a lot. Also, the title I thought I had in my desk is actually for another truck I have. I must have put this one elsewhere. If I don't find it tonight, I'll just go to the DMV tomorrow and get another copy.
The stereo system is as follows. I might still have receipts for it all. I'll keep looking for those as well. I realize it's not worth nearly as much as what I originally paid. But it's still decent quality equipment.
