This special Corvette is 1 of 75 cars produced by Chevrolet for use at the 1995 Indianapolis 500 race. The 75 cars were delivered to the race directors where they were at the disposal of those high enough on the dignitary food chain. The sequence number 128 signifies that it was the 28th Pace/Track car produced and the Pace Car Registry identifies this car as the one used by Dale Collins of Chevrolet Suite during the race. This rare car has only 3900 miles on the clock since new and is well maintained as it is kept in an enclosed storage environment with a car cover on it. The VIN has been verified by the Pace Car Registry as authentic and it has been kept original with the exception of a new battery and oil filter. It also still has the Indy Track Pass sticker on the windshield which designated the parking location for thecar at the race. The #128 is also still on the windshield which allowed people during the race to tell the cars apart. A Speedway license plate is also on the car but has the incorrect number. All75 Pace/Track cars were built identically and include the following features:
--Dark Purple Metallic over WhiteTwo-Tone paint and white vinyl convertible top
--Special Indy Decal Package and Special Indy Emblems
--5.7L Engine (LT1) with 4-SpeedAutomaticOverdrive Transmission and Performance Axle Ratio (3.07:1)
