1985 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta
1985 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta Description
Where do I start? Bought this vehicle about one year ago to be a daily driver for my son, well I have replaced just about everything at this point and both my son and I are out of steam on this enterprise. I have put in a brand new remanufactured engine, as the original one was so sludged up it blocked at least two major oil galleries to the front and rear con rods. Sounded like a singer sewing machine when I pulled it. New engine has been run up to temp twice for a run time of approximately 1 hour and runs very smoothly but does need the timing set. The trans shifted flawlessly, I have changed the fluid. New antifreeze, belts, all hoses. plugs, wires, cap, rotor. Brand new set of Cooper Cobra radial G/T 215/70R/14 on the original rims. Replaced original tires as 30 year old tires are not safe. I removed the rear end, disassembled it, had it sand blasted and powder coated, installed all new seals, differential oil, wheel cylinders and brake shoes. new park brake cables and rear shocks. New master cylinder, and front calipers, pads and all rubber brake lines, brake system still needs bleeding. The body and interior are darn near perfect. Some sun bleaching on the top of the back seat. The paint shines like day one. There is a small pencil eraser sized ding in the drivers door and a small scratch on the drivers fender. New headliner installed. Ive driven this about 250 miles (before the engine let go) and it is very tight and rides like a 1985 Camaro should. It has the push button digital dash, digital am/fm radio with 4 speakers. With everything I have done to this vehicle I believe the mileage to be 100% accurate. All the lights work as they should and I found zero mickey mousing anywhere. Essentally a time capsule that just needs a couple days of work to finish, Im simply out of steam on it. It is up on stands in my garage right now for anyone who wants to inspect. It does have a/c but needs to be converted from R12 and is too low on R12 right now for the clutch to engage. For inspection please call 1-920-733-1072 . I think thats about it, thanks for looking.

New door window seals installed, all other seals were and are intact. There is a spare tire and jack in pristine condition in the right side compartment of the "trunk".
