1940 Chevrolet 3/4 ton Special Pick-Up Truck - Resto project that just needs a home to be finished in... It is a must see and will be a killer head turning truck.
I started this project with all intent on completion but life happens and the family is growing so its time to go. I made it about 75% of the way and now it can be yours to complete and make your own. I have better than 90% off the parts to complete it.
-The truck was a local MT vehicle and was frame off when I purchased it as a rolling frame and primed body. Body work was"complete" but needed to be corrected and has been prior to paint.-A local paint shop finished the body work and coated in a vibrant true GM white.-The 216 motor was a lost cause so I dropped in and rebuilt a 235 I-6 which has been run but not 100% complete as it sits now (needs plumbed, exhaust, and final touches) Carb is rebuilt as well.-New Cool Craft Radiator-All body work including new running boards (fiberglass) have been painted. Rest of truck body is 100% OE and metal and no rust panel repairs-Interior lined with FatMat sound deadner (same to DynaMat)-Truck bed is done in pine and has been stained and coated with numerous layers of Pelucid (marine grade finish), stainless tracks and hardware-Seat upholstered locally with black vinyl, white stitching and pipe.-Converted to a 12v system (75% complete but all there) Harley headlights work awesome!-Not complete: Brakes (new master cyl provided), wiring, interior floor & headliner, drive line (oe included), body installed, and a few odds and ends-plenty more to list but most can be seen in the pics or ask away
