1978 Chevrolet Blazer K5 Description

Very nice 78 K5 2wd Blazer.Engine:Rebuilt LQ4 6.0. New rod bearings, main bearings, rings. LS6 oil pump, LS2 timing chain, comp 'thumpr' cam, LS7 lifters, comp pushrods and .650 lift valve springsHooker long tube LS swap headers.Transmission:Brand new Lingenfelter 4l60e and 2000 stall converter.Chassis:New brakesNew tie rods, ball joints, idler arm and pitman armNew brake boosterNew braided stainless power steering hoses and fuel lines.New fuel tankNew dual electric fansNew complete engine wiring harness and computer from Howell Efi. No junk, no hack job wiring.Brand new tires 255-20 front, 295-20 rear.Centerline billet smoothie wheels with oem caps.Exterior:New base/clear paint wet sanded and buffed. This is a top notch paint job, but has some small cracks low on the rockers, and one in the drip rail. They aren't noticeable unless you're a foot away and know where to look. Overall it's a solid 8.5 out of 10.Trim is decent and original. Some of it is held on with double sided tape, instead of the correct original screws.New door weatherstripNew weatherstrip for the removable top and rear windowRebuilt rear window mechanism with new latch and tracks and hardware.Interior:7/10- all original panels and carpet show some age and character but are overall pretty nice. Dash only has two cracks that extend from the center speaker hole. Driver seat has two small tears. Carpet is nice but has some spots of discoloration. I have not however tried shampooing it thoroughly. The rear side panels are in good shape with no water damage. Back seat is very nice. Dash face and gauge area is uncut and original. Center console has some peeling paint but is in great shape otherwise.Overall a really great driver quality truck. Includes soft top and all the trim panels for the back of the cab and stainless trim for the tops of the bed rails.
Things that need work or attention:No AC- has all the equipment for Ac to work, and the ac was cold with the original engine in place. Needs custom hoses made. I will include an LS compressor and Holley high mount bracket. I can also make the ac functional before delivery at standard shop rate.Shocks/alignment. Nothing major here, just could use some high performance shocks for a better ride, as it's a little bouncy.Runs great, but could use a dyno tube to be perfect. This is also something I can do before delivery for $500.Speedo doesn't work.Fuel gauge doesn't work.Temp gauge doesn't work. (Needs small adapter for LS cylinder head)
All the outside and inside lights DO work, along with the wipers and horn etc.
