2011 Chevrolet Impala Description

This fine automobile runs on compressed natural gas (CNG). It does not run on regular gasoline. I paid out of pocket ($15K) to have a CERTIFIED IMPCO dedicated system installed in 2013. It was installed by a certified IMPCO technician. I have run CNG for about 55K miles with NO ISSUES. If you buy CNG, make sure the system is the best you can buy...and IMPCO is the best.
This car runs perfect and is a commuters dream. I averaged about 34-36mpg on the highway cruising at about 65mph. The 6 cylinder has some nut when you need it.
The interior is a grey leather that hides dirt well. The Bose sound system make the Lawrence Welk go thump thump. It has an electric moon roof as well.
There is a $.50/gallon federal gas rebate reducing the cost of operation!
This engine will last 500k miles if maintained like I did. I was very easy on the throttle to maximize my driving range.
It has a 2 tank system with an approx. 300 mile range. The tanks don't expire until 2031.
I used it as a commuter vehicle and drove it very gently. No smoking and dealer maintained.
New Parts within last 500 miles
New CNG filter (critical to keep maintained)
New front brakes (rotors and pads)
New intake valve cover gaskets
New manifold cover gaskets
New battery
New transmission intake housing
I replaced the rear springs with police issue springs to help with the extra weight of tanks.
The foam in the drivers seat has been rebuilt by an old school auto upholstery shop. I like support for my bony backside and the factory foam just wasn't cutting it. You need solid support when spending hours in the seat.
The windshield has a silver oxide tint on the inside (clear and cannot see) that reduces the UV rays by 100% and the radiant heat by about 50%. It keeps the car much cooler and reduces sun fatigue.
This car is located in South Carolina. I will work with you on the shipping if out of state.
