1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

This auction is for a 1956 GMC pickup. This truck was owned by a 90 year old man for the last 30 years. It had 1 repaint with the original colors about 25 years ago and has sat for a little over 20 years. it has been upgraded to a T5 5 speed trans, lowered 3" in the front with new leaf springs and 4" in the rear. It has a new clutch, fan belt, hoses, water pump, tires and brakes including wheel cylinders and front brake hoses. The engine is the original 270Ci. inliner. it has 60 pounds of oil pressure cold at an idle and 30 after it's warmed up at an idle. The engine has never been rebuilt but runs strong and doesn't smoke and is smooth and quiet. The interior is original and in very good condition and has a new stock type rubber mat,headliner and sun visors. There are nicks and chips in the paint but the truck has no rot that I have seen.
