1981 Chevrolet C-10 Description

Up for auction is a freshly redone 81' titled c10 short bed. All work and fabrication was done here in a small Midwest shop called "Steadfast Creations"....we stand boldly, unapologetically and joyfully using our talents for his glory.....that's my version of get you sum of this!...

Front clip and rear bed were removed except for cab. We sandblasted the frame including under cab. New suspension from McGaughys was installed with drop spindles. 4.5 front and 6 rear. We chose not too install rear c notch as there was plenty of clearance. Kit included new lowering shocks. New front upper and lower ball joints. New upper and lower control shafts with rubber bushings. Everything underneath received a coat of black epoxy paint. Cab mounts and brakes were a o k...

New body parts include Hood, drivers door, front passenger fender, inner fender wells and rear tailgate...During this process LMC parts became one of my new best friends. New wheel arch molding kit also.. The cab corners were reworked with steel so very little body filler in this truck. The bed was sprayed with 2 part epoxy bed liner and was mounted with new carriage bolts. The grill surround molding isall new along with a custom grill fabricated in house... As I stand boldly in my beliefs I felt I needed to add a hidden compartment since the passenger side fuel door led to nothing so wahlah..... all steel lined with fabric...use it for a small cooler, wife hiddencompartment or what I prefer is my 2nd amendment rightof lead farming in my relax time....

PPG viper black, white and 69 hugger orange base was shot along with 3 coats of southern Polyuerthane Clear.

Interior has new molded carpet including kickpanels, dashpad, vents, armrests and panels. New window cranks, door handle gaskets, inner door seal handle, door seal plates, gauge cluster backing plate, shift indicator pointer and front and rear speakers.... The remoteradio came with this truck.....ok more NEW... door glass run left and right, door lock set, driver side door hinge spring, Rubber hood bumpers, both driver and passenger door bumpers, fuel door bumpers, glove box and cigarette lighter bumpers including new cowboy killer lighter with knob.. New door lock knobs... New seat cover with Harley emblem and new rear tint.. I replaced the gear indicator knob with a motorcycle flaming grip along with a turn signal rubber toe shift....New brake and emergency brake foot pads. This has a tilt steering column with a 94 steering wheel...

The 305 motor and transmission have roughly 15k miles on them. When motor was pulled we replaced pan and intake gaskets. New retro tall valve covers, new Distp. cap plug and wires. Added a nice set of long tube headers including new exhaust. Drained transmission fluid and replaced gasket....and oil of course.. The transmission mount is also new...

Truck has Harley steel emblem under hood painted to match truck along with outer badges. Rolls on new 245/50r/20 Boss wheels and tires. The rear has a 2" spacer for the proper look.............
