1984 Chevrolet Celebrity Description

Here is a SUPER RARE (1 of 60 made) Hess & Eisenhardt Custom Convertible conversions made in 1984.
Car has 115,000 orig miles on it now had only 95,000 when I bought it in 2014. It was a 2.8 carb'd engine but in 2015 I put in a 1986 Pontiac Firebird 2.8 with Multi-port Fuel injection. Purrs like a kitten and only has 15,000 miles on it since rebuild.
CAR HAD AND HAS ZERO rust solid floors California car it's entire life. No leaks solid floors all the way around.
Custom 60's chrome emblems replaced 80's plastic ones custom spoiler added to give car a more retro look. It runs as smooth as a Cadillac has new springs front struts and shocks custom 15 inch rims and tires have about 8,000 miles on them.
Orig velour upholstory was replaced with all vinyl as convertible's should have. Dash redone newer carpets. Many NOS parts were installed bumper ends and imp[act strips NOS 1982 Grille and headlight doors. New rubber and window felts.
ALL OPTIONS work Power windows (new motors in front) COLD AC new compressor etc. Smooth rack and pinion power steering front disc brakes.
2.8 Fuel injected motor GETS AMNAZING gas mileage. Close to 30 on highway. small 14 gallon tank cheap to fill up.
If you've never driven one of these early 80's GM cars they handle like a sportscar yet still deliver a smooth ride.
Hess & Eisenhardt did the best convertible conversions frame was beefed up and power convertible top fits well AND DOES NOT LEAK in the rain.
New CD AM/FM stereo and speakers in dash were replaced. Car has been my daily driver for the past year.
No issues get in and drive. Wipers work great as do all the lights etc.
1970 Mercury taillights replaced the plastic 80's tail lights you can easilyu put back if you want but these give the car a more muscle car look.
I can't take it out and drive it without getting many comments and compliments.
