1960 Chevrolet El Camino

This is a project car. You can either restore it or make a Rat Rod out of it. That was my plan, but health issues are preventing me from doing that. It is a pretty straight car but does have some rust issues in the floor pans and some behind the rear wheels. It is a 3 speed on the column car. I have all but three pieces of trim for the car, the two long pieces on the driver’s side and the top of the tailgate. The trim will need restored as well.

It does roll easily and steers but has no brakes.

The engine is gone but it does come with a manual transmission that was in the car. It is a 3 speed with overdrive. It has the clutches, flywheel and all the linkage. Drive shaft is still in it, too. The radiator, fan shroud, brake booster and master cylinder are included. I’m not sure if any of it is any good but I would assume not. But it should be good for cores or to be rebuilt.

The car will need re-wired but I am including a complete new wiring harness from American Auto Wire. I paid $575 for it. I also am including the front replacement floor pans. I paid $240 for the pair.

If you click the “Buy It Now”, I will include a second set of bed trim that is in somewhat better shape than what’s on it. It is complete with all the pieces. These are very rare and very expensive, even in this condition. They do not reproduce these, as far as I know.

These El Caminos are very rare and finding one that is restorable is getting harder to do. Don’t miss out on this one!
