1972 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

Exterior:
  • The truck looks good overall and has an older paint job so it's showing some wear here and there. It has some minor chips, scuffs, etc. and there are a few bubbles in the paint down low on the bottom of the left front fender and front corner of the driver door. Overall it's very solid though.
  • It is solid underneath and only has a couple of very small rust spots that are very minor.
  • It has brand new 16x8" Mickey Thompson aluminum wheels with brand new 33" Nitto Terra Grappler tires that give the truck a great look and stance.
  • We installed a brand new outer grille surround to brighten up the front end a little.
  • Both door mirrors are brand new.
  • It has a brand new drop in bedliner as well that really cleaned up the looks of the bed area. Under the bedliner is the original metal bed floor and it is super solid with no rust issues.
  • Both bumpers are in good shape.
Interior:
  • The interior is in really good shape overall as well.
  • The deluxe door panels are nice and not all beat up.
  • The dash pad is in good shape.
  • The vinyl seat cover has the scrolling and looks really nice and is in great shape.
  • The carpet looks to be in really good shape also.
  • The original steering wheel has some cracks but is in good shape overall.
  • All of the head lights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals and gauges work.
Drivetrain:
  • The engine is a really good, strong running 350 with an aluminum 4 barrel intake manifold, Edelbrock carburetor, brand new Z/28 repop valve covers, stock cast iron exhaust manifolds running through dual exhaust and out the back of the truck.
  • The original 4 speed manual transmission shifts good and the clutch feels good and engages easily.
  • The original front and rear 4 wheel drive 8 lug axles are still under the truck and all of the 4 wheel drive parts are present and working like they should.
  • The power steering feels really good and the truck actually drives down the road great, despite being a 4 wheel drive. It doesn't wander the road like a lot of wore out 4 wheel drive trucks do.
  • The power brakes have a good pedal feel and stop the truck easily.
