2004 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500HD 6.6 DURAMAX LONGBED
Up for sale is a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd, the legendary duramax diesel and backed by the Allison 1000 transmission. As you can see the truck was used for work with some scratches on the bedsides from throwing tools and such over it. I would trust this truck across country with no issues.
Body:LONG BED.The truck has some imperfections and could use a good detail. The cab is in good shape overall with a dent under the driver side mirror 2x3 and less than a 1/4 inch deep. there is also 2 small dents on the back side of cab behind driver door. Beneath the rear window there is a dent in the middle where it looks like something was in the bed and hit the back cab. The bedsides have some imperfections as you can see. The passenger side has a dent in front of the tire about 14in long and 6 inches long where it pushed the lower bedside in.There is a dent below the taillight on the same side 2x31 inchdeep. The driver bedside is pretty straight with just some scratches. The truck does have a spray in bedliner and does not have a gooseneck.The frames is clean with no rust from salt. Jusy installed 4 new tires.
Interior: The inside is clean with no bad smalls, The dash has no cracks but has some fading from the sun. Seats are clean and not wore out. there is 2 small holes in the driver seat less than 1/2 inch. Headliner is clean with no staining. Rear sear is clean with no stains. Carpet has some fading but is still in good shape. The radio works good and sounds crisp ready to take a trip! all power windows work. power mirrors work. Air blows cold along with the heat.
Engine. Duramax diesel is completely stock with no aftermarket programmers or tuner.Truck has factory exhaust system. The engine fires right up and sounds excellent with no blow by. The allison transmission shifts smooth and right on target. I have drove this truck over 50 miles and have not had any issues. There is no service engine light on. it does trip a abs light ever once in a while but then goes out. The truck does need a alignment after the new tires were installed as it does have a little play in the steering wheel The push button 4x4 works good from 4 low to 4 high with no strange noises!.
