I am helping a friend sell this vehicle. The vehicle is in my possession, I can show the vehicle, and he will work with the buyer on planning a place and time to transfer the title.
Up for sale is his 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. This vehicle has working 4 Wheel Drive. This Silverado is powered by the 4.3L V6, which provides ample power and also great gas mileage. Super low mileage for the year, ONLY 79K MILES!! This is a work truck, has dents, dings, peeling clearcoat...but very little rust. Driver's side rocker is really the only rust on this truck.
Manual windows, manual locks, rubber floor, AM/FM cassette, working heat and AC. 8 foot bed with drop in bed liner.
Just completed a fresh oil change and tune up (platinum plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and coil). New air filter and crankshaft position sensor installed as well.
I do think a front hub sensor is acting up, occasionally the ABS and Brake light illuminate, then go out.To fix, you will need to replace the whole hub and bearing. I'm 95% sure this is the issue.
Vehicle does have a reconstructed title, it was this way when my friend purchased it. The previous owner bought it with the reconstructed title as well. I provided the VIN # below if you'd like to inquire into why the title is reconstructed.
Only reason for selling is needing a larger truck, which my friend already purchased. The inspection runs out 02/17, and if it doesn't sell by then, he will get it inspected. This truck just needs a muffler repair and tires for PA state inspection.
