Chevrolet Equinox LS
2012 Chevrolet Equinox LS Description
I purchased this car in 2014 with approximately 9,000 miles on it. It has given me absolutely no problems. It was a rebuilt title when I purchased it. The po had repaired it (no frame damage, all cosmetic just to the front end). They didn't do a great job with the paint work, but it served my purposes fine. I never hadany mechanical issues and performed oil changes religiously. The car was also kept very clean, washed and waxed regularly, and never smoked in. In November 2016, the car was rear ended and the vehicle was declared a total loss by the insurance company. I amstill fighting themand have not settled out the claim buthave decided to sell the car as-isto keep the garage storage fees from getting too high. The car runs and drives well. Infact, Idrove it home from the wreck and then to the garage where it now sits (at normal speeds);about 60 miles.Itactually drives normal, if you didn't see the damage, I don't know that you'd know it had been in a wreck. The current (rebuilt) title will be conveyed, butthe bill of sale will bevery specific as to the declared total loss.I have no idea whatyouwould need to do from that point to get the title cleared and in your name. Having said that, I can't make any guarantees as to the ability or feasibilityof repairing this vehicle, or as to the process of clearing the title. I just know that it runs and drives very well. If nothing else, it should make a great parts car.
