1965 Chevrolet Corvette Description

This is a real 65 365HP AC car (Marlboro maroon). Not many of these produced. I've had this on eBay a few times and surprised that no one's jumped on it. I sold a NOM base engine 66 needing as much work as this a few months ago for the same price wanting for this one. Was not sold on EBay. The 66 had a front end that was out oforder, but this 65 is completely straight and the front end has never been off the car. For that matter, the car has never been apart and all problem areas are visible in the attached pictures. Will need the frame fixed right under the battery (left side/ AC car), the bottom windshield channel and top plate on drivers "A" pillar. Also the drivers rear quarter will need replacing. I'm selling the car complete as I purchased it 17 years ago along with the correct dated/stamped (Even has original broch marks) block that precedes the build date by 2 weeks. The block in the car currently is a CE (Chevrolet exchange) motor. Only other thing not original is the carb and exhaust manifolds. This car will need a full restoration, but the great thing is I have all the original stuff as this was a complete car when I brought it to my shop many years ago. Anything you don't see on it is boxed up on my shelves. It will need new seat bottom frames as the original ones are rotten. I do have all the original seats and interior less the carpet. The cowl section sitting on the back of the car is not included, but for sale separately. I bought the cowl many years ago before re-popped windshield frame parts were not available. Feel free to email or call (713-805-3962) with any questions.

I was asked about the knock off wheels and need to clarify these are not going with the car. They are older aftermarket and will be for sale separately after the car sells. By removing these and the cowl, I have lowered my reserve from where it was on the previous listing. The car will come with all 4 Crager wheels along with 4 original 65 hubcaps. I do not have the original steel wheels. Also, added a pic of the engine bay. Thank you, Jim
