1986 Chevy K-5 Blazer
Engine: 454 Big Block
Transmission: 350 Turbo, 488 gears with a Detroit locker possi
Hello And thanks for looking---
I originally purchased this truck in 1996 for $15,000.00, I drove it for about 2.5-3 years before I decided I wanted to do a full off frame restoration, 21-ish years later, and over $100,000.00 invested, this truck is truly one of a kind!
This Truck was a complete off frame restoration, completed in 2006 just in time to take World of Wheels, 1st place best in Show trophy!
Since its debut in 2006’s world of wheels, the truck has been stored covered, in a temperature controlled building and has not been driven.
All components, down to nuts and bolts, are all OEM, GM parts. Not a single detail was spared, when restoring this red rogue truck. Started off with a new factory ordered GM 454 crate motor, a 350 Turbo transmission, 488 gears with a Detroit locker possi, and 32” tires with a 20” wheel. The front clip, grill and lights, were brought to life with the look of the 1992 K-5 Blazer, to really set this truck apart from the rest. This truck has too many fine items to list, it is truly a must see in person to understand the true heart of it.
Custom Chevy logos cut throughout the truck show no spare in the detail work that was put into the thought of restoring this truck to bring it new life in the upgraded world of technology it once was not a part of. The custom molded fiberglass panels, encompass hand wrapped Grey and Red leather in the interior of this modern upgraded truck that has been detailed with a new digital dash, power windows, locks, and 7 way power seats. While enjoying the upgraded electronics, make sure to check out one of the 10- televisions that allow you to watch 3 shows at once, or maybe even play a game of PlayStation while you’re at it. Is Music your thing? Check out the 4 subwoofers and amplifiers, which are surrounded in a clear show-off custom case, hinted behind the red LED lights to showcase the music lover in you.
This truck is a must see, to appreciate all the details, and thought of what went into it.
