2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Duramax Diesel 8 Foot bed Description

I did own and loved this truck but am listing for a friend that currently owns it. I'll start with the truck has a 6 inch lift yet rides, handles and brakes and tracks well. He and I have done many long runs with it and I'd say it is more than well mannered. For Fuel management it has a bully dog programmer and performs well in all modes. It's not out of the question to see 19-21 mpg at cruise. It is mechanically wonderful and has always had or at least over the past 5 years and 40000 miles, 3-5000 mile oil changes. It does not seem to use oil as it's never low between changes. Cosmetically, and it is a "truck" is a strong 7-8 out of 10. Interior appears less than its 138000 miles and exterior certainly so. It does not have a car fax indicator although it did have a minor accident a little over a year ago. No panels replaced other than a head light, grill and some other incidentals. Over the last year or so I spent close to $2200 on driveshaft carrier bearing/suppor, u joints and had the driveshaft balanced, front calipers, rotors and pads, brake lines....also too make it more smooth and proper I also purchased, not installed but can be, a $500 pro com, double jointed front drive shaft specifically for a lifted suspension. It's also is equipped with the following: awesome steel cowl hood (beautiful fit and alignment) high end DIN head unit with amp, Nav and sat radio, rear DVD player, XD wheels and power running boards, HID head lamps bed rug liner and soft bed cover. This truck runs, appears very nice considering it's 13 years old and commands compliments where ever it shows up. It is a truck that will function as it should and one you'll be proud to own.
