1996 Chevrolet Corvette Description

I bought this in 2002 through my dads RV dealership from the insurance company. It had 10,000 miles at the time. The front bumper was ripped off from a sideways hit from I would assume another car. It was on the tip of the front meaning the front was not damaged badly. The original hood is in the picture and as you can see it had no bad damage. I bought a new hood at the time and a new front bumper. The air bags were set off and back then most cars with air bags that went off were considered a total loss, because they were new at the time and expensive. I also put new air bags in it at the time. That's the story with the damage.Because of it's history does not make it a bad car or worthless. It does make it worth less than one with good history,I realize that. One with good history with these miles you will pay 20 grand plus.Or you can have the same car for thousands less. That's your choice. I need what I need for the car,no low ball offers. Price is in the ad and firm. If I can't get that I will keep on enjoying it like I have been. Selling cause I just don't need it any longer. Time for someone else to enjoy it like I have. This is a rare car being one of 1400 collectors convertibles made and only about 400 of those had this rare LT4 awesome beast of a engine. Tires are bf goodrich and put on 5000 miles ago. Car has been serviced before it was put away for the winter, Still has original brakes.I have never had any mechanical issues with this car other than a minor oil leak that was corrected and a crank sensor last summer. I have taken it on 2 long trips over the years and is a very dependable car that I would trust to go anywhere.Paint is almost perfect except for very minor stone chips very low on rockers. Interior is very nice with very minor wear on drivers seat. Carpet is perfect. Top is original and perfect. Call me with any questions at 607-849-3131 Greg
