I bought this from Woodyz Hot Rods. They painted it three years ago. Mint original interior. Even the turn signal switch is still tight. The story is that an older man bought the car new. He drove it for ten years, then passed. His wife did not drive, but let the car sit for 20 years in the garage. When purchased, new fluids, shocks, tuneup, belts and hoses were done. Then new tires, and wheels were installed to update the look. I had intended to do an LS swap, but other projects are still in the way. This car, as it sits, is still totally original. All gauges, lights, signals, radio, wipers, and heater work as they should.
Even the turn signal stalk it tight. The doors have zero sag. Floors are extremely solid. Trunk floor still looks new. The only bad spot on the body is a small bubble forming on the bottom of the LH quarter behind the wheel. It wasn't bad enough for me to worry about fixing it. It would be a pretty easy fix. In fact, I have enough left over paint that I received, that would cover the small area should you want to repair it.
I have two other projects I am working on and just can't seem to find the time to get to this one. I had planned on doing an LS conversion. If I don't sell it, it will just have to sit on the back burner until such time as I can do the transplant.
I live in St. Louis County. I would encourage you to come inspect it, drive it, or send a representative to inspect it. It is one of the nicest bodies and interiors I have seen on a used car. Come judge for yourself. If you have any questions, let me know. If you want more pictures, send me a message and I'll try to get them for you.
