1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe 2-Door 5.7L LT-1
1994 Chevrolet Camaro Description
For sale is a 1994 Camaro Z28. I've owned this car since 2002. The car was involved in an accident years prior to me purchasing and was purchased by a body shop owner who fixed the car up for his son who used it to commute to school. They even installed a small trailer hitch which hasn't been removed because I used it as a jacking point for tires, brakes, etc. I believe there was roughly 84000 miles on the car when I purchased it in 2002 and I was told they only used synthetic fluids in it. When I purchased it I serviced the engine, transmission and differential with Mobil 1 full synthetic and have used Mobil 1 and AC Delco filters exclusively since then. This car was used as a daily driver up until 2014 when I replaced it with a 2008 Corvette. Since then its been sitting in a garage. The cars in excellent mechanical condition and was either serviced by me or a gm certified mechanic. The oils been changed every 7500 miles and doesnt burn any. The OptiSpark Distributor and waterpump were replaced with OEM units around 120,000. New platinum plugs and MSD wires were also installed at 120,000 the plugs are rated for 100,000 miles. The car has 4 like new Nexen tires with less than 2000 miles on them. I had the carrier bearings in the rear replaced at 130,000 because on deceleration their was a noticeable hum and its been quiet ever since. A few years after I had it the transmission mount tore and i replaced it with one from Autozone which tore after a few weeks so it was replaced with a polyurethane one and has been solid every since. Both window motors were replaced over the years, they currently work fine but arent as fast as when new. I'm just looking to sell the car to free up garage space because I dont use it anymore. Its been a great car for the 14 years I've had it and mechanically it runs as if it had 50,000 miles on it. Things I know it needs....Inspection ran out late 2014 so the car needs inspected, I see no reason it wouldnt pass. Heat works good, A/C I believe needs recharged. The car has no rust or dents. It does have normal scratches and there are a few places the clear coat has begun to peel. The rear rotors are slightly pitted from sitting the fronts are not, I believe if the car was used for a few days they would be fine and would not need to be cut. I've done no modifications to the car since I've had it. It had a borla catback and K&N cold air kit on it when I got it. The car has not been raced or abused. It was my daily driver I depended on and used it to commute to college and work for years.. I've had 0 problems since purchase I could attribute to it being wrecked at some point. I've never had the car aligned and tires always wore evenly. For years the ABSINOP light has been on and the car has always stopped on a dime so I never looked into it. I've always maintained the car meticulously and fixed any small problems ASAP. The car was never horrible on gas, I've ranged from 17 in town to 24 on the highway. I've tried to disclose all known information, if you have any questions please let me know. Car is available for pickup only, no shipping.
