1954 Chevy 3100 Step Side. Was purchased as a complete running truck. Has been completely disassembled, the body and chassis have been acid dipped and E coated. The frame has been boxed, the rear suspension has been updated to a 4 link, the housing and differential are a Chevy 10 bolt from a 1981 firebird. The rear end has a brand new Eaton posi unit. The front and rear disc brakes are brand new, drilled rotors. The front suspension has a 4 inch straight drop axle with rebuilt king pins and new leaf springs, the front hubs have been converted to tapered roller bearings. The engine and transmission mounts have been updated for a small block Chevy and automatic transmission. THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. They can be purchased separately. Front and rear hubs have been converted to Chevy bolt pattern to allow for a wider wheel selection. The brake master cylinder has been updated to a dual reservoir and relocated under the driver floor pan attached to the frame. The cab corners have been replaced, the floor pans have been cut out and new patch panels purchased but not welded in. The bottom of both doors will require some rust repair. All interior gauges are included but will require restoration. The wheels and tires are not included in the sale. There is no tailgate. The original 6 cylinder engine and rear axle are included.
