For sale one 1956 Corvette project car. 1 of 3467 built. Original colors Cascade Green with Shoreline Beige interior and trim. One of 147 corvettes built in 1956 with that color combination. Highly optioned with the 225hp Dual Quad engine, 3 speed manual transmission, both hard and soft tops, Power soft top, Power Windows, Radio, and Courtesy lights. This Corvette has been sitting for over 30 years, and is not currently running or driving. Formally owned by Hendricks Motorsports NASCAR team, as noted on previous title and paperwork that come with the car. The engine turns freely. The short block is a "870" casting 327. The Heads, Exhaust Manifolds, Distributor, Valve covers, Radiator, and complete dual quad setup are original dated components. The 3 speed transmission and rear diff are dated originals. The body is in good condition. The frame rails are solid except for behind the the axle. The rear frame cross member is in poor condition and should be repaired or replaced. As far as electricals, the horn, wipers, both power windows, T-3 headlights, brake lights, tailights, and turn signals work. The glass is in good condition.
