1964 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Description
A 1964 Corvette Roadster, complete rebuild from the frame up to best simulate the 1963 Grand Sport Racing cars but with some better streetable use.
The frame and suspension are original 1964 with some minor upgrades. All components were disassembled to bare frame and either painted or powder coated.
The body was stripped, including the underside. This is not a kit car body, this is the actual 1964 Corvette body and the front, rear, fender flares and quarter flares were properly bonded to duplicate the Grand Sport.
The dash is a duplicate of the Grand Sport dash. More modern comfortable seats were chosen for ride quality. A premium stereo deck and speakers were installed.
The engine is a professionally built 406 Chevrolet with a strong but very driveable cam and other internal components built to run on 91 fuel. The carburetion is four down draft Dellorto carbs. The car is painted Lamborghini white with a blue stripe with red outline pin stripes running the full length of the car. The blue and red have an multicolor light flake.
I will have more pictures to post in the next few days.

The seats are aftermarket, high back but I cannot recall the make. There is no trunk as there was no trunk in the original 1964 Corvettes but there is the carpeted storage area behind the seats.
The car has the original VIN and is titled as a 1964 Corvette.

Vehicle was just listed on Ebay and just before the auction ended the lone bidder contacted me to retract his bid as he could not obtain the funds. So I am relisting and at a lower starting price.
