This handicap conversion Silverado does have a REBUILT TITLE, as itwas in a minor accident. So why the salvage title, prior to being rebuilt? When we purchased from insurance, this truck was a run and drive, and damage was not severe at all. As we often see with handicap conversions, insurance will total out due to altered frame due to conversion. Involved front drivers side. We replaced grille, front bumper, fender and headlight all with brand new OEM parts. No damage to engine, transmission, or handicap conversion, nothing mechanical involved at all. Drivers airbag did deploy, just as it should have. Of course it was replaced and works just as it should, again no issues, cant stress that enough. Truck was repaired by our reputable body shop, then to obtain rebuilt status, had to pass a thorough state inspection to verify all repairs were completed and met their approval.
